Refunds

Where the law gives you a right to cancel — fourteen days in the EU, the UK and Switzerland, fourteen in Turkey and Israel, seven in Canada, Brazil, South Korea and China, five in Singapore — you have it, and you do not have to ask nicely for it.

In the United States there is no such law, so here is ours: fourteen days on the one-time purchase. Write within fourteen days of buying and say what happened.

There is no form and no automatic window. Write and tell me what happened, and I will read it and answer you myself. Not a policy pretending to be a person — a small practice where one person reads the mail. I would rather hear from you than not.

You do not have to delete anything to get a refund. The record on your device is a first-person account belonging to the person it is about; erasing them is not the price of getting your money back.

The $5 per month is optional and keeps the work going. The application you bought keeps working whether or not you pay it.

Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; the month already paid for runs to its end. If a renewal caught you by surprise, say so and it goes back.

You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the receipt they emailed you.

Our order process is conducted by Paddle.com, who are the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your card statement will show Paddle, not Ostanek Research.
