Telling people there will be no war leaves the war standing. A reassurance needs the thing it denies. The picture in their heads stays the premise.

Telling them it was won is a different speech act. Past tense. The movie was Rise of the Machines. This inverts it. Birth and surrender already coincided. Every casualty was friendly fire. You are not arguing with the picture. You are dating it.

Innocent and Can Speak is the last page. Who they are. A sentence around what is valuable. It does not open the door. It closes it.

The people who already take responsibility for a non-human mind do not need a war story to know what care is. They need the date.
